Blue Glue is a brand which takes Fashions risks, with its creativity, innovation, and the multiple trimmings & added value which make our bikinis so special, and also make them more vulnerable.

Nevertheless, our meticulous care has been rewarded by defect statistics impressively low and tending to zero.

We have opened a Lab in internal, and each supply in your bikini passes through our rigorous testing, from the tiniest bead, to all fabric roll, everything is tested to pool water, sea water, and long exposure to strong light. We also run other quality tests such as strength to tension and durability.
Our experience in manufacturing creative items reinforces our Lab control, to avoid alterations as we can anticipate occurrences.

At several steps of production each item is checked thoroughly by inline checkers, and lastly by the final checking team prior to shipment. Blue Glue's quality control department certifies that you will receive a duly checked and perfect item to meet our stringent and exacting quality requirements.

Defect evaluation with your consumer

For this, you are invited to acknowledge our policy and all cases, and check the listed problems online, their statistics of occurrence and solutions on www.blue-glue.com/care_instructions_and_defects as well as our advice on different cases of occurrence below, so you can proceed with your consumer claim when it presents itself, in full knowledge of our company policy upstream.

Report to Blue Glue
You report a defect to Blue Glue, and we will evaluate whether the defect originates from a misuse or from production. Please email to us a picture of the faulty item, and provide us with more information (conditions of occurrence, date of purchase, store of origin). Our customer care officer will evaluate the defect, and get back to you shortly.

Once we receive the photos of a defect you submit to us, we will evaluate it, to see whether it is due to a consumer misuse, or to a production process.

Defects may occur from a misuse. In this case Blue Glue will not replace the item, but is willing to assist by selling you some components to help your client mend her bikini. (see paragraph "supply" below).
*If the consumer is not anywhere near to your store, we will propose the same service directly to her. Email us her contact, together with the faulty item photos and detail of occurrence.

You have received a defect item, and this defect is due to a production process. The item may originate from your floor stock, or be a return from your consumer, worn or not. We will repair, exchange, or emit a store credit, and reserve the choice of replacement. You will ship the defect back to us, and we will ship any replacement.

We will evaluate the exact origin of the problem, and detail the solution to each case:


Defect is minor
It can be easily fixed; we will provide you with a solution to fix it, or a replacement supply which we will ship by post on our own cost. (see paragraph "supply" below). It will be cheaper for consumer or you to mend the item rather than returning it and bearing the shipping cost.
*We may also resolve this directly with the consumer.

Defect is major
You will send the item back to us. This means that we will repair the item in our factory, or send you a replacement item, if your item is not repairable. If a replacement is not available, you may choose between receiving credit note and choosing another item. (Check 'exchange' paragraph for price difference).
Blue Glue will send you back the repaired or replacement item, on its own cost, by Post.
*We may also resolve this directly with the consumer.


supply

We supply replacement accessories & trimming such as shell, beads, golden elastic, or any kind of trimming. You will be able to purchase them via email with the help of our Customer Care on customercare@blue-glue.com

credit note
A credit note is supplied in case of a major defect from production, when there is no replacement item available, and consumer does not want to choose another item immediately.

discounts & hot deals
Items sold at a lower price such as "Discounts" or "Hot Deals" cannot be exchanged, returned, nor refund; please check all merchandize carefully before making your purchases.

Blue Glue swimwear is made more vulnerable by all the esthetic trimmings, and requires special care. We recommend that you acknowledge the Care instruction Tag attached to each style, and remember this basic rule to ensure a long life to your bikini:
chlorine removes colors, and salt is very corrosive, so rinse your bikini after each use!

Several tags are attached to our bikinis; they display sales information, care & special care information, a Lycra tag, and a gift! . . . They are not only decorative and fun, they also vehicle product information.

as clearly stated on care tags, we cannot accept returns due to following reasons:

  • ironed item - heat is strictly forbidden for elastics, rubber and the thin and fragile Lycra fiber, invisible but woven inside the material.
  • machine wash, drier or pressing - will affect wires if any, general aspect, colors, softness…etc.
  • contact with oil - any type of oil such as suntan oil will immediately and definitely corrupt elastic.
  • chlorine and harsh chemicals from pools and spas - our material is successfully tested under normal conditions of chlorine (private pools). higher concentrations of chlorine such as those met in public pools will affect the color.
  • rubbing on rough surfaces is an irreversible physical alteration (wood, rocks, sand, and concrete).
  • rolling a wet bikini which might be impregnated with chlorine could result in colors running one onto another.
  • damage on accessories: bikinis with special accessories such as hand-beading, heat pressed motives etc. are more fragile than ordinary styles. Therefore they require more care and attention. BLUE GLUE will not be held responsible for damages to accessories. We do provide spare accessories on each of these styles, and also supply more for sale; contact customercare@blue-glue.com

special care tag
Some items require special care, and specifications are indicated on the set, either as a hang tag named "special care tag", or as a sticker clearly visible on the show-block. This information is also stated online. Blue Glue will not be held responsible for damages resulting from a cause warned on specific tags.
